Oral storytelling is one of the most powerful methods of sharing our faith. Throughout the Gospels we see examples of Jesus using stories to communicate truth to a wide variety of people.

St. James is excited to host a workshop presented by Living Water International on ways to share the Gospel of Jesus through Orality.

Orality is a growing movement in evangelism today, and it is changing the face of missions around the world. Orality methods and strategies are amazingly effective ways of communicating the Gospel and making disciples. These methods enhance efforts in relationship building and developing community. Simplicity and reproducibility are key factors that make these methods universal and transferable into any culture around the world.

Some unique features of this training will include; learning a little, practicing a lot, implementing immediately, and telling the stories often.

We will be hosting the Orality Training workshop on June 1st from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch and snacks are included in the cost.
